R. Ivanyi et al., Chiral separation of pyrethroic acids with single isomer permethyl monoamino beta-cyclodextrin selector, ELECTROPHOR, 22(15), 2001, pp. 3232-3236
Enantiomers and diastereomers of chrysanthemic, permethrinic, and deltameth
rinic pyrethroic acids were separated from each other, using positively ion
izable permethyl monoamino beta -cyclodextrin (PMMA beta CD). The highest c
hiral resolution value was 20.0. The optimum conditions of separation were
found to be 16 mm PMMA beta CD concentration and pH 6.5, where analytes and
selector were in oppositely ionized states. Selectivity of PMMA beta CD pr
oved to be the best among the cyclodextrin derivatives studied.
