Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the reflection characteristics of an artifici ally synthesized absorbing medium by using the finite difference time domai n (FDTD) technique. We analyze the sensitivity of the reflection of this me dium to material parameters. Results in time and frequency domains demonstr ate that this kind of artificially synthesized medium has excellent electro magnetic absorbing properties.
