PEGylated diaminobutane poly(propylene imine) dendrimers were investigated
as prospective drug delivery systems. Solubilization and release properties
of these dendrimeric derivatives were investigated by fluorescence spectro
scopy by employing pyrene as probe. The prospective application of the same
dendrimers as drug carriers was first evaluated by incorporating within th
eir interior sufficient concentrations of betamethasone corticosteroids. (C
