Abstract
PEGylated diaminobutane poly(propylene imine) dendrimers were investigated as prospective drug delivery systems. Solubilization and release properties of these dendrimeric derivatives were investigated by fluorescence spectro scopy by employing pyrene as probe. The prospective application of the same dendrimers as drug carriers was first evaluated by incorporating within th eir interior sufficient concentrations of betamethasone corticosteroids.
