Abstract
4-Pyridyldiphenylphosphane is used as a bridging ligand for the first time. The ligand forms a double-bridged bimetallic complex with hexacarbonyl tun gsten. Characterization is performed by X-ray analysis and NMR spectroscopy . The crystal structure of the complex shows pi -stacking interaction betwe en the pyridyl rings, and structurally the complex is an organometallic ana logue of [2.2]-paracyclophanes.
