The magnetic field effect of a S-8(7/2) - z(6)P(7/2) lines of Eu-151 a
nd Eu-153 in magnetic fields up to 68.7 mT has been studied by using l
aser-atomic-beam-spectroscopy. The Zeeman level structures of the euro
pium a(8)S(7/2) and z(6)P(7/2) states in magnetic fields were discusse
d. The location and intensity of the measured Zeeman transition Lines
were found in good agreement with the theoretical results.
