Abstract
This paper proposes a new method to construct a degree of membership in fuz zy modelling. The method is based on similarity between fuzzy and quantum-m echanical logic and suggests using the mathematical apparatus of quantum me chanics (Hermit's operators and wave-functions) for fuzzy models. This appr oach first requires the construction of a special "quasi-potential" functio n based upon the knowledge of an analyzed system. How this method works is illustrated with the help of three simple examples concerning hormone norma l concentrations, an optimal number of hospitals, and the distance to healt hcare.
