Abstract
A simple and effective algorithm based on Haar wavelet is proposed to the s olution of nonlinear stiff problems in this paper. The simulation result sh ows that the whole computation time can be reduced to one tenth of the well -known Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg, approach, while the accuracy is nearly the sam e. (C) 2001 MACS.
