The results of experimental study of drift turbulence in the presence
of the controlling wave are presented. The controlling wave with a fre
quency in the drift frequency range is driven by an oblique Langmuir w
ave, which, in turn, is modulated by a drift plasma wave. This provide
s a feedback control of the turbulence. The change in the original dri
ft turbulence spectrum and a decrease in the intensity of drift oscill
ations are experimentally observed. It is shown that the change in the
drift spectrum depends on the phase of the controlling wave. The resu
lts confirm the possibility of the control of the spectrum of drift tu
rbulence.
