Abstract
Electrokinetic phenomena all involve tangential motion of fluids with respe ct to charged solid surfaces or the other way around. A penetrating study involving measurements of surface conduction and molecu lar dynamics yields mechanistic insight into the slip process which can be useful in interpreting wetting dynamics.
