When memory set is a fractal, whether the generating mappings of the memory set are linear, non-linear, monotone increasing, or monotone decreasing, t he exact estimates of corresponding memory function and flux on the fractal can be obtained. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
