Abstract
From the aerial parts of Acanthus ilicifolus, two benzoxazinoid glucosides, 7-chloro-(2R)-2-O-beta -D-glucopyranosyl-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3(4H)-one and ( 2R)-2-O-beta -D-glucopyranosyl-5-hydroxy-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3(4H)-one have b een isolated, together with six known compounds.
