Abstract
Most steps in plant nucleic acid isolation are easily adapted to 96-well fo rmat; however, tissue disruption typically is performed on samples individu ally and often is the rate-limiting step in sample processing. We have foun d that DNA and RNA isolation from Arabidopsis tissue can be carried out in 96-well format using a paint shaker fitted with an adapter for tissue disru ption.
