Enthalpies of aniline solution in mixed solvents water-1,4-dioxane, water-a
cetone, and water-dimethyl sulfoxide at 25 degreesC were determined within
entire ranges of their compositions. The enthalpies of its solvation and tr
ansfer from water into mixed solvents, and also contributions of hydrocarbo
n radicals and functional groups to these quantities were calculated. Effec
ts of composition and properties of the mixtures on the aniline thermochemi
cal characteristics in solutions were considered.
