Abstract
The binary silver manganese polyphosphate AgMn(PO3)(3) was synthesized by s olution-flux crystallization from a melt of polyphosphoric acids; its cryst al structure was determined. Crystals are orthorhombic: a = 14.530 Angstrom , b = 14.529 Angstrom, c = 14.533 Angstrom, Z = 8, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1 ). The structural analogues of the compounds are sodium manganese polyphosp hate and sodium cadmium polyphosphate.
