Thermodynamic functions of solution of apatites in water under standard con
ditions (DeltaG(s), DeltaH(s), and DeltaS(s)) are calculated. The influence
of the enthalpy and entropy factors on the possibility of spontaneous diss
olution is analyzed. The coefficients a, b, and c for polynomials that expr
ess the temperature dependences of the activity product for a number of apa
tites in the temperature range of 298-473 K are calculated. The thermodynam
ic allowability of the synthesis of apatites in water solutions is estimate
d.
