Abstract
The extraction of chloro, complexes of palladium with mixtures of a primary , secondary, or tertiary amine and a phosphoryl podand, Ph2P(O)CH2CH2(OCH2C H2)(2)OCH2CH2P(O)Ph-2, in dichloroethane is studied. In the presence of the podand, the palladium extraction increases as a result of the solvation of protonated and neutral amine molecules.
