Abstract
An enhanced capacity, selectivity, and catalytic activity were observed for the ligand sorption of sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon disulf ide from gas-air mixtures on some metal-modified carbon materials. The mech anism of the sorption process and the possible applications of metal-modifi ed sorbents are discussed.
