Complexes of Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Pd(II) and Cu(II) wi
th a fourteen-membered macrocyclic ligand have been prepared and characteri
zed by magnetic moment, infrared, electronic and EPR spectral studies. All
of complexes were found to have six-coordinate geometry and are of the high
-spin type except the Pd(II) complex which is four-coordinate, square-plana
r and diamagnetic.
