Abstract
The amine moiety of animals adds to dimethyl maleate via azomethine ylid in termediates. The products of this reaction. in turn, cause dimethyl maleate to isomerize to dimethyl fumarate. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All righ ts reserved.
