Abstract
The title compound, [Cd(C13H14N2)(4)(H2O)(2)](NO3)(2). 2H(2)O, has been pre
pared from the self-assembly reaction of oligoaniline dadpm (dadpm is diami
nodiphenylmethane) and Cd(NO3)(2) in MeOH/H2O. The Cd-II mononuclear comple
x cation has a center of symmetry, and dadpm acts as a monodentate ligand.
