Abstract
In the title molecule, C16H16N2S4, the two dithiocarbamate groups, which ar
e perpendicular to each other, are linked by an SDS bond. The dithiocarbama
te groups adopt a trans-planar conformation and form a dihedral angle of 89
.75 (8)degrees with each other. The phenyl rings make dihedral angles of 77
.3 (2) and 89.2 (2)degrees with the dithiocarbamate plane. The CD N bonds i
n the dithiocarbamate groups show partial double-bond character.
