Abstract
The title compound, C30H28, was prepared by tris-(2,4-dibromophenyl)aminium hexachloroantimonate-induced cyclodimerization of 1-o-tolyl-1-phenylethyle ne in 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoropropan-2-ol. The X-ray analysis of the only pro duct of the reaction confirms that it is the cis isomer.
