Abstract
The title complex, C6H9NO6.C12H8N2.H2O, is composed of nitrilotriacetic aci
d (NTA), 1,10-phenanthroline and water in the molar ratio of 1:1:1. The cry
stal structure, determined at 180 K, contains an extensive network of hydro
gen bonds and both intra- and intermolecular H-atom transfers are observed.
