One-nucleon emission electron scattering experiments are studied with a mod
el that considers short-range correlations up to the first order in the num
ber of correlation lines. The proper normalization of the many-body wave fu
nctions requires the evaluation of two- and three-point diagrams, the last
ones usually neglected in the literature. When all these diagrams are inclu
ded the effects of the short-range correlations are rather small. The resul
ts of our calculations are compared with experimental data taken on O-16. (
