Abstract
The present investigation is concerned with the application of the the ory of fracture to the prediction of the workability of materials in r otary forging, with special reference to center cracks. The validity o f the theory of ductile fracture is examined by the experimental data, then the workability of materials in rotary forging is determined. (C ) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
