Abstract
We present preliminary results from the VSOP observations obtained of a rad io outburst of the radio emitting X-ray binary system LS I +61 degrees 303. The image shows a central source surrounded by extended emission out to a radius of approximately 2 mas, and spanning along two preferred directions.
