Abstract
We summarise the properties of selected supernova remnants (SNRs) which hav
e elongated envelopes that could house relativistic jets. We present MOPRA
and SEST millimeter observations of these objects, showing correlation betw
een known X-ray hot spots and molecular cloud density as signified by the d
etection of a CO(1-0) line flux.
