Abstract
We investigate the jet formation region of relativistic magnetic jets using stationary axisymmetric MHD models. We numerically calculate the field str ucture of the collimating jet and the flow acceleration. Special or general relativistic effect,, are considered. Stationarity allows for a global tre atment of the jet physics. Our results are applicable to highly relativisti c jets of AGN and microquasars.
