Abstract
A 16-month-old, female alpaca presented with a 24-hour history of anorexia and depression. On necropsy, it was found that the liver was grossly enlarg ed and the cortices of both kidneys contained multifocal lesions. Histologi c examination of these lesions and other tissues revealed infiltration with lymphocytic cells, a finding consistent with lymphosarcoma.
