Abstract
The past decade has witnessed an impressive growth in the scope and variety of physical applications of Fisher's information measure (FIM). In the pre sent effort we study a similar measure, but defined within the strictures o f Tsallis' non-extensive scenarios. It is seen that this new measure exhibi ts interesting relations linking it to both Tsallis' and Renyi's ones. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
