Abstract
A modified pivot algorithm has been developed for the search of the lowest minima of peptides. The model calculations on terminally blocked tetraalani ne (TA), demonstrate the higher efficiency of the proposed method over the conventional genetic algorithms. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science BN.
