Abstract
A method for extrapolating the differential cross sections for single- particle-transfer reactions of the type A(x, y)B to the singularity of the reaction amplitude in cos theta (theta is the c.m.s. scattering a ngle) closest to the physical region is developed on the basis of Pade approximants, and the error of extrapolation is estimated reliably. T he proposed method is applied to specific reactions. The squared modul i of nuclear vertex constants are determined for the virtual decays t- ->d+n, He-3-->d+p, Li-6-->alpha+d, and Li-7-->alpha+t.
