Abstract
A new method is proposed for analysis of correlations in multiparticle production processes. This method is based on the technique proposed by Hurst. The predicted value of the Hurst exponent is h similar to 0. 7, which corresponds to the presence of long-range correlations and su ggests the existence of a collectivity (or medium) effect.
