Abstract
We present here a case of end-stage non-ischemic valvular dilated cardiomyo pathy (DCM) associated with mitral regurgitation (MR). The patient underwen t surgery where left ventricular volume reduction using endoventricular cir cular patch plasty (EVCPP) and mitral valve replacement (MVR) were performe d. He has improved much after the operation and is now in New York Heart As sociation (NYHA) functional class II. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All ri ghts reserved.
