Abstract
Two neonates with paraesophageal herniae, both associated with gastric volvulus are reported. The presenting symptoms in both cases were hig hly suggestive of esophageal atresia. Radiologic examinations enabled the correct diagnosis to be made, and appropriate surgery was then ins tituted.
