Abstract
The composition and characterization of the ignava species group of Ph yllophaga (s. str.) are reviewed, and two new species belonging to thi s group, P. invisa and P. rolstoni, are described from Texas. Genitali a are illustrated for each new species and enface views of the paramer es are given for P. ignava (Horn) and P. idonea Sanderson, two previou sly described members of the group. The range, habitat, and flight per iods in Texas are presented for each species belonging to the group. A lectotype is designated for P. ignava.
