Abstract
The recording field of a narrow-track single-pole (SPT) write head with a d ouble-layered medium was investigated using 3-D eddy current transient fini te element analysis. Results show a large head field strength reaching B, o f head pole at track width of 100 nm and a high frequency response of 2 GHz . (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
