In the present work the deformation of the Al-Al4C3 composite is analysed a
t different temperatures and strain rates. As shown at 400 degreesC and hig
hest strain rate applied 10(-1) s(-1), a significant elongation growth was
observed with a corresponding reduction of the fractured area. On the base
of TEM analysis and according to our previous papers, it is supposed to be
the result of dynamic grain polygonisation, rotation and partial recrystall
isation in the tested system, known as strain-induced dynamic recovery.
