A new approach to the narrow locking range problems of an injection-locked
oscillator AO) has been investigated using a feedback signal into the activ
e device and a fictitious internal source generated by nonlinearities of th
e active device. Through this analysis, a new design methodology, for an IL
O with an enhanced locking range is proposed. Measured results verified the
