Abstract
A spatially modulated dark conductivity is present after thermal fixing of holograms since strong compensating electronic and ionic concentration patt erns are formed. Modulated dark-diffusion as well as dark-drift currents ar ise and develop the hologram permanently. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. Al l rights reserved.
