Abstract
We report the achievement of a compact and portable holographic interferome ter. A first prototype had been previously developed. It showed some limita tions that are now overcome. The new camera is lighter, more easy to handle and is more flexible, mainly by means of an optical fiber bringing the lig ht from a remote laser to the holographic head and a new optical design tha t strongly reduces the reference beam forming stage. This instrument can be used for high accuracy displacement metrology. Several recent examples are reported here for the first time. They all concern industrial R&D studies.
