Ae. Zagorskiy et al., Energy exchange optimization in (110)-cut BTO crystal by choice of interacting waves polarization, OPT MATER, 18(1), 2001, pp. 131-133
The relative intensity dependence of a signal wave on the orientation angle
between holographic grating vector and crystallographic axis [0 0 1] is ex
perimentally found for the first time for fixed thickness of (1 1 0)-cut BT
O crystal in the case of two-wave mixing. Azimuth of polarization of intera
cting waves corresponding to maximum energy exchange is theoretically found
for every value of the orientation angle. Comparison of theoretical and ex
perimental orientation dependencies of gain for two special linear polariza
tions (in the incidence plane and perpendicularly to this one) and maximum
gain is fulfilled as well. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserv
