Abstract
We demonstrate the equivalence of the electric field and spectral multiplex ing (SM) technique for holographic recording in photorefractive materials. The proposed technique of electric field multiplexing (EFM) provides a spec tral selectivity of recorded holographic filters up to a few picometers. (C ) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
