Abstract
Luminacins C-1 and C-2 (1 and 2), novel angiogenesis inhibitors, have been synthesized from a carbohydrate. The correlation of 1 and 2 confirms their structures to be different only at Cl " and establishes the relative and ab solute configurations. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
