Abstract
Using a gauge-invariant reduction, we directly integrate the SL(2,R)/U(1) W ZNW theory, We prove that the conserved parafermions in this theory are cos et currents. The parafermion algebra, the energy-momentum tensor, and "auxi liary" parafermions are quantized in a self-consistent manner.
