Abstract
Defect dynamics, as studied by electrical resistivity measurement during re peated compression of cement paste in the elastic regime, are characterized by defect generation that dominates during the first loading, defect dimin ution that dominates during subsequent loading, and defect extension that d ominates during subsequent unloading.
