The transport properties of underdoped YBa2Cu3Ox. (YBCO) crystals with x =
6.95, 6.80 and 6.66 were measured and the effect of the pseudogap on the Ha
ll conductivity was studied. In the normal state, the Hall angle remains un
perturbed at the crossover temperature of resistivity for the underdoped sa
mples. An anomalous suppression of the vortex Hall current was observed nea
r T. and the contribution of the vortices to the Hall current is absent abo
ve 40 K in 60 K YBCO (x = 6.66).
