Abstract
The single-electron detachment cross sections of Cu- in collision with He h ave been measured in the range of 10-30 keV by a growth rate method. The ty pical value of the cross section is 7.63x 10(-16) cm(2) at an energy of 20k eV. The experimental uncertainty of the results is about +/-8%.
