Abstract
A new method for quantitatively evaluating the alignment degree of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets by x-ray diffraction spectra has been proposed. It has bee n experimentally revealed that the strong (105) reflection existing in almo st all x-ray diffraction spectra of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets stems from the misalignment grains whose easy axes are at an angle of 15.5 degrees with r espect to the orientated direction of the magnet.
