Abstract
Nonlinear intermitted wave solutions that are recurrent in time are pr esented to the Boussinesq equation by using the superposition of ratio nal growing modes where the effect of the nonlinearity is taken into a ccount. It is also shown that the breather solution can be constructed by imbricate series of rational growing modes.
